What the heck is a phoropter?
You know that thingy in the eye doctor’s office? The one you look through while the doctor or technician flips the lenses and asks, “Which one is clearer, one or two?” And there’s a little click. Yeah, that’s called a phoropter.
At first, I thought a phoropter sounded like it might be, like, some dinosaur (yes, really!), which of course made me segue to envision having a little mascot here for Coach Poppy™, The Phoropter Coach™, called a Phoroptersaurus.
So with the help of the “essence of the phoropter,” we can Phoropterize™ those parts of life that feel blurry and perhaps so single-focused that you can’t even see other possibilities. You look again and get a little bit closer to clearer sight.
So yeah, basically, I bring the lenses and you do the looking.
